Like Mama, Like Baby

Out of all of the things in the world we could have in common...

The picture of me was about the point in the day...during my 16 hours of labor...when enough was enough. The oxygen mask was not so fun.

Whitney is feeling the same sentiments. Day 2 of breathing treatments=not so fun.

3 Months

Who else out there in blog land is having a hard time believing that is has been three whole months since the day we welcomed our little turkey.
I am so very grateful God chose us to be her parents.

And yes, we are ringing it in with Whit's very first ear infection.
She is in good spirits even though her right ear is a bit funky...

First Party...

This weekend we went to Perry's 4th birthday party...a garden party. Her mamasita is one clever thing. It was perfectly planned from the personalized aprons, wheelbarrow race, pot decorating and flower planting. The children all had a blast.

Whitney took in the sights and sounds of the little ones running about, slept a little in loving arms and bask in her "whiteness" (she looked SO EXTREMELY white in the bright lights)! She behaved like a little lady without one single fuss.

As soon as all the presents were opened Perry belted,
"It's baby holding time!"

Happy August

Today was the first day of school for so many youngsters in our area...many of you know I am at MSE 5 days a week this year--with 1486 students under one roof. The school is a well oiled machine, things were eerily smooth! I was able to sit in my new office and enjoy the sights and sounds that children bring.

I've been back to work now for a few days...
I count the minutes until I can see this sweetness again each and every day.

The wedding last weekend was just perfect, the happy couple is returning tomorrow from their honeymoon-I can't wait to hear how incredible it was. I did not get a single picture of Jane Gray & Allan, but here are a few family shots from the weekend...
