So much to say...

Oh goodness, I haven't been able to squeeze blog time into my schedule these days.
It is terrible I know, I must do better!

We celebrated my 28th on the 12th.
28 just doesn't seem to have a fabulous ring to it.
Almost 30 and class reunion this summer is all I can think about. Craziness. Here is a little look into the birthday evening. Brady and Whitney baked me a pink cake (2 layers, I may add. Props to the hubby.) the night before while I was at a mini baby shower for sweet Ansleigh who is welcoming her 3rd baby...under 3.5 years old!!
I was so surprised when the Hubs whipped it out.

Yes, our daughter is wearing a camo t-shirt and socks. She spent the afternoon with Redneck Dad, he thought she looked great I am sure.
I can't believe I am sharing this with the world.
Don't hold it against her, it is our fault. :)

To accompany my new ripe age of 28, I entered the 4 eyed club.
The lady cracked up at me as I placed my new tortoise framed glasses on and shouted with excitement as I realized what I had been missing!!!
If I could only remember to wear them every day...

The Whit turned a whopping 6 months. It is insane how quickly time flies.
We love her more and more as the days pass and are in constant awe of her wonder.

She weighed in at just above 16 pounds (50th%ile)
and 25 inches long (50th%ile).
She sits, rolls, cackles and brings joy to our lives every day.

We are heading to the Coast for Turkey Day this weekend...
(which translates into Brady missing opening day of deer season, so sorry!)
then on to Lexington for true live Thanksgiving with the whole Davis clan.

As we express our gratitude,
we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words,
but to live by them.
~John Fitzgerald Kennedy

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!

New Cousin

This weekend we went to the Coast to welcome our new sweet cousin Jaycee.
She is a doll, and Jenna & Jason are doing a great job in their new role as parents.

Now all they have to do is start a blog!
